Dear
All,
Namaskar
!!
Hope
this email finds you well. As we all know that we have moved on to year 2
activities and it has been the great learning from year 1 regarding the SAMBHAV
activities. There are few activities I would like to shed light upon that
should be completed and focused till April. These are:
1.
Act 75A- 1.3.3. Teacher's Training: The overall target of
SAMBHAV project to this activity for year 2 is 390 teachers to be trained
comprising of 2 teachers from each schools from year 1 and 4 teachers per
school in Year 2 schools. This activity must be completed by the end of April.
This can be conducted in cluster level. Also the most important thing that must
be remembered that pre-test and post test for this training has changed
and will be provided soon. So, please plan this activity as the important
priority for April and may I request you to share this tentative dates of
conducting this activity.
2.
School Enrollment Campaign: Once the final examinations in schools are completed,
the School Enrollment Campaign will kick up and this is the opportunity that we
must not miss. In year 1 schools, the tenure of YCs has already been extended
for 2 months just to focus on this campaign, sustainability of JCC and Homework
Clubs. So, please be clear about it and ensure for their maximum mobilization
in School Enrollment Campaign. JCCs should also be involved in this campaign.
This is serious one and each school we work must be involved in this campaign.
3.
Act 75A- 3.3.1 Orientation for parents, SMC, Community members and other
adults : While conducting this activity it is
mandatory to orient the participants on the concept of Complain Hearing
Mechanism.
4.
Act. 75A-3.3.3. Meeting with Community Members, Teachers and Parents, Act 75A-
3.2.1. Sensitization Workshop to key stakeholers, Act 75A- Orientation for
teachers and Resource persons must be prioritized and completed.
5. Act 75A- Training for
Junior Champions- Please note that JCC training should be
conducted this year too in all the schools of year 1 and year 2. In Year 1
schools- 15 JCC members (excluding guide teachers) and in year 2 schools- 13
JCC members ( excluding guide teachers).
6.
Please also note that the modality of Life Skill and Learning Camp has changed
and from this year, it should be conducted in class-wise basis and twice in the
year so that all the students of the schools can be unique counted.
Hope
these points will be noted. If there is any confusion, please feel free to
contact.
